TEN EDA II Exhaust Diesel Analyser
The EDA 2 is a diesel smoke analyser that can be combined with an INNOVA gas analyser, PC or other hostsystem. This smokeanalyser is a solid but compact smoke meter that incorporates intelligent microprocessor controlledelectronics for a quick and accurate analysis of different diesel engine vehicles and has been specifically developed to provide the user a maximum scope of available diagnostic data
The unique optical system and natural flow of the exhaust sample through the smoke meter prevents deposits of carbon and pollutants which results in a virtually maintenance free smoke meter. The EDA is completely made of aluminium to avoid corrosion and mechanical deformation, but to assure an optimal heat conduction. Together with the accurate and robust optical components, we guarantee a high quality and accurate measurement!
TECHNOLOGY WITH THE FUTURE IN MIND
The EDA 2 uses the partial flow principle. Only a small part of the exhaust gassesgoes through the smoke chamber. Compared to a full-flow analyser this means we were able to construct a more compact design. To avoid condensation and decompression of the gasses, the EDA 2 is equipped with a powerful self-regulating heating system that keeps the chamber temperature constantly at 100 °C,
All information ofthe smoke analyser is processed by theintelligent electronics and can be presentedby the RS232 port. The EDA 2 has a powerful command set, so you have lots of possibilities.

The EDA II offers you all possibilities to design your own test procedures, for example a continue test, an EEC free acceleration test or a graphic presentation.With the EDA II you’ll have a tool to test diesel emissions the way you want to, even for diagnostic purposes
