to today
A Luxembourg family business that has supported the workshops it equips, year after year, as they evolved.
Equindus is founded
The company is founded in Luxembourg. Equindus begins trading in the sale, installation and maintenance of professional equipment.
Garage and body shop activities expand
Equindus develops and broadens its range of equipment for garages, vehicle workshops and body shops.
The industrial business takes shape
Equindus extends its expertise to the industrial sector, installing compressors, compressed air networks and distribution systems matched to the needs of workshops and industrial sites.
Parking systems arrive
Equindus opens a new line of business dedicated to mechanical parking systems and to solutions that make the most of available parking space.
Fully equipped steel inspection pits
Equindus builds up its expertise in the design, manufacture and installation of fully equipped steel inspection pits, for servicing cars, heavy goods vehicles, rail stock and oversized machinery, including armoured vehicles.
Change of ownership
Cyril Buschmann, with the company since February 1999, takes it over and continues to grow, diversify and structure its various activities.
The Car Wash business launches
Christ Wash Systems, a world-renowned manufacturer of wash systems, chooses Equindus as its partner to develop the sale, installation and maintenance of its equipment in Luxembourg.
Moving into the new building
Equindus moves into its new head office in Grass: 540 m² of offices across the ground, first and second floors, plus a 500 m² storage hall with a 180 m² mezzanine. The new premises support the company's growth and strengthen its administrative, technical and logistics capacity.
Joinery workshop equipment
Equindus rounds out its industrial range with machinery and equipment for joinery workshops. The project delivered for the municipality of Differdange illustrates this new expertise and the company's ability to carry out complete technical installations.
Calibration to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard
Equindus teams train at DIQ Zert, a German body accredited by DAkkS. This training allows them to calibrate testing equipment subject to the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard.

Selling the machine

Installation
We install the equipment we sell: civil works, connections and commissioning. A site is only handed over once the equipment is fully operational.
Preventive maintenance
Scheduled service contracts to head off failures, limit downtime and extend the working life of your equipment.
After-sales and breakdowns
Twenty-one technicians and fully stocked vans, so we can act without waiting on a part from abroad.
Training
Your operators are trained on the machine, on your premises. Equipment used badly wears out twice as fast.
