Christ – Heavy Goods Vehicle Wheel Wash
Clean roads from the moment vehicles leave your site
MARS | STARS: wheel washing systems for industrial vehicles
The MARS and STARS wheel washing systems from Christ Wash Systems are designed to automatically clean tyres, wheels, chassis and the lower parts of trucks, construction machinery and industrial vehicles.
Installed directly at the exit of a construction site, quarry, concrete plant, recycling centre or industrial site, they limit the spread of mud, soil and dust onto public roads.
Equindus supports you in choosing, installing and maintaining the wheel washing solution suited to your activity.
Why install a wheel washing station?
Heavy vehicles operating on unstabilised ground quickly carry mud and dirt onto roads. This leads to cleaning costs, accident risks, complaints from nearby residents and site cleanliness constraints.
A wheel washing station placed at the site exit helps retain dirt before vehicles enter public roads.
Main benefits:
Reduced mud on roads
Automatic washing during vehicle passage
Less manual cleaning to plan
A cleaner and better organised site
Reduced risks linked to dirt deposits
A solution suited to high-traffic sites
Wheel washing in video
The video below shows how a wheel washing station for industrial vehicles works. The vehicle passes through the washing area while the nozzles clean the tyres, wheels and lower parts.
Two solutions depending on your use
MARS: the mobile solution for temporary construction sites

MARS is a mobile automatic wheel washing station. It is intended for temporary construction sites, one-off projects, rental solutions and sites where the layout changes regularly.
Its mobile format makes transport, installation and commissioning easier. The system is designed for flexible use, with simple and fast operation.
STARS: the stationary solution for permanent sites
STARS is a fixed automatic wheel washing station. It is intended for permanent installations with heavy vehicle traffic.
Its robust structure is suited to quarries, gravel pits, landfills, recycling centres, large construction sites and industrial sites with sustained activity.
MARS or STARS: which station should you choose?
The choice depends on the duration of use, the frequency of vehicle passage, the site configuration and the level of dirt to be treated.
MARS is suited to mobile needs
Temporary construction sites
Public works projects
Rental solutions
Sites with frequent layout changes
Fast installation and compact format
STARS is suited to fixed needs
Quarries and gravel pits
Recycling centres and landfills
Permanent industrial sites
Long-term major construction sites
High traffic and heavy loads
Automatic cleaning during passage
Operation is simple: the vehicle passes through the station, and the nozzles clean the wheels, tyres, chassis and lower body. Washing is carried out automatically while the vehicle moves through the system.
The spray nozzles are positioned to ensure even cleaning. Mud, clay and dirt are removed in seconds.
The system works in both directions of travel, making it easier to integrate into the site’s traffic flow.

Various sectors of use
MARS and STARS wheel washing stations fit into many sites where vehicles carry mud, dust or materials onto the road.
Building construction sites
Public works
Quarries, sand pits, gravel pits and mines
Concrete plants
Landfills and recycling centres
Industrial and production sites
Port and logistics facilities
Technical features
A robust design for heavy vehicles
Passage width: up to 2.80 m
Vehicles up to 60 t
Axle load: up to 15 t
2 high-performance submersible pumps of 2,000 l/min each
20 m³ water tank
Separate sedimentation and pumping chambers
Control terminal with sensor system for activation
Drive-through grids with water circulation
Water management and controlled operating costs
MARS and STARS wheel washing stations operate with optimised water management. Depending on the selected configuration, they integrate a closed water circuit, sludge separator and recycling basins.
Dirt particles are separated, the water is treated and then reused. This operation reduces fresh water consumption and limits operating costs.
Benefits of water recycling:
Reduced fresh water consumption
Reuse of washing water
Better controlled operating costs
Operation suited to regular vehicle passages
A solution designed for site safety

By reducing mud and soil on the road surface, MARS and STARS systems contribute to safer site access. Traffic lanes stay cleaner, site visibility remains better and risks linked to dirt deposits are reduced.
The station acts directly at the site exit, before vehicles reach public roads.
An installation adapted to your configuration
Each site has different constraints: available space, number of vehicles per day, type of dirt, desired flow rate, water supply, drainage, sludge treatment and direction of traffic.
Equindus studies your need in order to offer a configuration aligned with your activity and your site layout.
