Low oil consumption

Renowned for their low oil consumption, DEVILBISS compressors are fitted with a suitable lubrication system which, in particular, prevents valve fouling and reduces clogging of the network filters.

Balanced pistons – short stroke

The entire piston assembly has been specially designed for balance, giving the machine vibration-free operation. Likewise, the short-stroke principle limits the linear speeds of the pistons as well as passive frictional resistance.

Generously sized bearings

All the bearings used in DEVILBISS compressors are lubricated inside the crankcase and require no particular maintenance. This results in very smooth running of the shaft line.

Finned cylinder heads

The generously sized, well-oriented cooling fins keep the compressor head at a low temperature.

Easy oil level check

The oil level indicator, filler cap and drain port are positioned for easy access, making the compressor easy to maintain.

Stainless steel valves for better efficiency

The valves are made of stainless steel. They provide exceptional durability and excellent corrosion resistance.

Cast-iron cylinders

The cylinder is one of the key components of the compressor; its robust design, heavily ribbed with large fins, together with the high precision of the bore, helps to reduce friction and oil consumption.
